CASP: Expand Your Crypto Services Across the European Union

The expansion of Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) within the EU is a strategic opportunity under the MiCA regulation. However, before offering services in another Member State, certain regulatory requirements must be met.

All CASPs, without exception, must comply with these rules if they wish to operate beyond French borders :

Mandatory Steps Before Expanding into Europe
Before any expansion, you must submit the following information to the AMF :
1. List of EU Member States where you plan to provide crypto services.
2. Detailed description of the crypto services you intend to offer in each country.
3. Expected start date for these services in the selected countries.
4. Other business activities that are not covered by the MiCA regulation.
Validation Process & Deadlines
AMF Review: Within 10 business days, the AMF will forward these details to the regulatory authorities of the concerned EU states, as well as ESMA and EBA.
📌 Notification : The AMF will inform you once the Member States have received your application.
📌 Launch of Your Services: You can begin offering your services immediately after receiving confirmation.
📌 Maximum Deadline: Regardless, you must start your services no later than 15 calendar days after submitting the required information.
